The second I ( The Other Me) is an American fantasy - comedy film from the year 2000. Directed by Manny Coto, the screenplay was written by Jeff Schechter based on the novel Me Too by Mary C. Ryan.

Action

Will Browning is considered lazy student. If he does not get good score in the natural sciences, it is sent for the summer in a militarily organized warehouse. By using the substance Ocean Pups he clones himself, he finds that his clone Twoie is smarter than him and send him to school.

In school, the clone is more popular than Will; the classmate Heather is interested in him. Wills best friend Chuckie turns away, however.

The developers of Ocean Pups kidnap Will. This telepathically contacted the clone and sent to him, he was in a bus to New York. Will save Twoie and the other kids and take the developers from a substance that allows the contained in the resolution Twoie continued survival. The kidnappers are arrested. Twoie gets the new name Gill and lives henceforth in Wills family.

Awards

Andrew Lawrence and Tyler Hynes won the 2001 Young Artist Award. Consisting of Andrew Lawrence, Brenden Jefferson, Tyler Hynes, Sarah Gadon and Alison Pill ensemble cast was nominated for the Young Artist Award.
