The Outsiders (American band)
The Outsiders were an American rock group in the mid- 1960s, some successes, most notably in the United States were able to recognize immediately.
Tom King played since the early 1960s in a number of amateur bands before he decided to form a band themselves. Thus was created in 1965, the group "The Star Fires ". This was in the area around Cleveland, Ohio, quickly became popular and received in the same year a record deal. Beginning of 1966 the group released then under the new name The Outsiders, the first single, " Time Will not Let Me", which became a hit instantly and was in the top five in the U.S. charts.
The second hit was a new version of the song " Respectable ", originally by the Isley Brothers. Both songs were from the album " Time Will not Let Me". After the success abated, and the " outsiders" in the late 1960s broke up again. The singer Sonny Geraci founded the early 1970s, yet the band "Climax ", published a million-seller with "Precious And Few".
