The Pearl (Arabic اللؤلؤة al - Lu'lu'a, DMG al -Lu ʾ lu ʾ a, the pearl ') is a 400 -hectare artificial island 330 meters off the east coast in the Emirate of Qatar. The heavily indented island is conveniently located 20 kilometers north of Doha and emerging airport about 11 kilometers northeast from the capital Doha.

The island and its infrastructure was built by the Cypriot construction company J & P. Located in construction are high quality villas on the beaches, town houses and larger apartment buildings in the three centers, some luxury hotels, as well as schools, kindergartens, a row of shops, a shopping mall, other shops and numerous restaurants, mosques, for a total of 30,000 people.
