The Pentagon Channel

The Pentagon Channel is a government TV station in the USA. Founded in 2004, it sends a full-time program for the 2.6 million members of the U.S. Army.

Pentagon Channel is the only AFN channel which is to be received in the U.S. for the general public ( via satellite ). The feed to the civil power cable is legally problematic, since state -funded domestic propaganda is banned in the U.S. since 1948.

Jamie McIntyre, the Pentagon correspondent for CNN, called the Pentagon Channel "the first American government channels ."
