The Piano Guys

The Piano Guys is an American musical duo consisting of pianist Jon Schmidt and cellist Steven Sharp Nelson. They were known by their set on the internet video platform YouTube videos with classic -inspired variations of popular songs, accompanied by professional videos. History

Paul Anderson is the owner of a piano store in St. George (Utah ). He meets the musician Jon Schmidt as he enters the store and asks if he can practice for an upcoming concert. The two begin together to record music and produce video. But only chiming in as the cellist Steven Sharp Nelson to the group made ​​a breakthrough. The Piano Guys publish their videos on the internet video platform YouTube, some of her videos now have over 30 million views.

On January 25, 2013 their debut album was released as a CD / DVD from Sony Classical.

Music
