The Pipkins

The Pipkins was a British pop duo consisting of Tony Burrows and Roger Greenaway.

Tony Burrows was a singer of many groups, such as White Plains, Brotherhood Of Man, and Edison Lighthouse. With the latter he landed with the song " Love Grows ( Where My Rosemary Goes ) " # 1 on many charts.

Roger Greenaway was part of in the 60s and 70s, very successful composer duo Cook / Greenaway. With David Dundas Greenaway wrote in 1976 including the number one hit "Jeans On".

The Pipkins occurred in more than wide, discarded pants with wide suspenders and brightly striped shirts.

The most popular song of the Pipkins was composed by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood song Gimme Dat Ding, a fun song that came from the British children's TV show Oliver & The Overlord.

The Pipkins released two LPs: "Gimme dat ding" (1970) and " We want to sing" (1971 )
