The Priests

The Priests are a Northern Irish classical vocal group consisting of three Roman Catholic priests. She inspired in France, the vocal group Les Prêtres and in Germany the priests.

Career

As a student at St. MacNissi 's College, the two brothers Eugene and Martin O'Hagan first met with David Delargy and found himself as a singer together. Then they studied further together at the seminary in Belfast and at the Pontifical Irish College in Rome. There she also sang at a papal mass.

Later they returned to Northern Ireland, where everyone got their own community that he cared for ever since. The vocal connection remained nevertheless be completed in 2008 and even a record deal from under which they recorded the album The Priests. This was a worldwide success, reaching number 1 in Norway, among others, and 2nd place in New Zealand and the Netherlands. In the U.S., it reached number 2 in the classical charts. In the UK it sold faster than any debut album previously in the classical period.

The following year, The Priests released a second album entitled Harmony, which came in many countries in the charts, reaching # 1 in Sweden, among others, and 3rd place in New Zealand.
