The Prophecy of the Stones

The Oracle of Oonagh ( original title La prophétie of pierres ) is a fantasy novel from 2002, written by the then only 13 -year-old Flavia Bujor.

Action

In a Paris hospital Joa, a 14 - year-old girl struggling with the death and only held by a dream alive:

In a kingdom, which is ruled by the Council of the Twelve, whose aim is to rob people freedom, jade, opals and Ambre live with different families and get on her 14th birthday a matching stone to its name. Each is sent away from home to meet the other two, and together they will have to find their way, as it is written in a prophecy. This prophecy was many centuries ago by a Clohryun called Néophileus who could see into the future, written, so that good can win his old strength back.

Jade, opals and Ambre decide to work together to solve the mystery of their stones and when they take it at the same time in the hand, a strange symbol shows before their eyes. To know the meaning of this symbol, they travel to Nathyrnn, a city that benefits the Council of the Twelve as a prison for all supporters of freedom. There they meet Jean Losserand who can interpret the symbol. It stands for Oonagh, an oracle, who lives in the mountains of the fiction.

In the fiction people live peacefully with magical beings, because it is the only country that is spared by the Council of the Twelve. It is surrounded by a magnetic field which can be crossed only with the belief in the impossible. With the help of Adrien de Rivebel freeing the inhabitants of the city and come to the border of the fiction, where they must fight against the Knights of the Council. You have defeated them almost as one of the knights of the Order suddenly stabs opals. People from Nathyrrn refuge in the myth and Adrien wears Opal body by the magnetic field, where he falls in love with her.

You stay a few days at Owen d' Yrdahl from which they learn that death is on strike and that opals can survive if their wound is treated. Adrien reports to the Army of Light to surround the city Thaar, the city's origins.

As opals is healthy again, they ride towards the mountains, where Oonagh lives. They help the inhabitants of a city to break the seal of darkness that was laid upon them, and in gratitude they get a potion that will save them on Oonaghs mountain before the birds of prey. By underground passages finally arrives at Oonagh, for a small, lively girl is against their expectations and sings them a part of the prophecy.

Oonagh tells them that on the day of the summer solstice, a battle between the army of darkness, and the Army of Light will take place and that they need to talk about death to end his strike. With a card, which they get from her, they travel to the kingdom of death, the lake of the past. You overcome his delusions and reach than the first mortals in the realm of death. When they confront him, they expect from their worst nightmares risen from a creature, but again them, there are only a little girl. They manage to convince the death that he is loved and will be accompanied by Rokcdär, an adviser to the death, to the Palace of Yrianz de Myrnehl.

Ambre recognizes the Nameless ( and falls in love with him ), who formerly served the Army of Darkness, is then deserted and the memory was wiped out, as the elect and opals understands what is their gift: hope.

They travel to Thaar that was taken now by the army of darkness and against her will she step into a huge high-rise building in which they meet the 13th member of the Council of the Twelve. It is together no man, but the Spirit of all twelve councilors, but still independent of them.

From a window, they see the assembled armies on the battlefield. With the elect at their head the Army of Light performs well but it threatens to lose anyway. The 13th member tries to make them understand that the battle is already hopelessly lost because the hope in her stones, any of which can only be separated in death.

Since Jade understands what is meant in the prophecy, and although they do not want to send in the death of their friends, they persuaded her to jump out the window in order to defeat evil and restore the light to victory. In Jump the stones dissolve and a golden rain pours over the world and gives everyone hope. Before they hit the ground, they are picked up by the birds of prey and carried to the battlefield. There they meet Oonagh, Adrien, the elect, the defeated army and the lucky winner. A golden grain falls from the sky, which they dig and from which a tree grows, the will always remember this battle.

In Paris hospital the sick girl wakes up after last night, in which she had this dream. He helped her to see that she must not give up hope and they must go on and has given her her life.
