The Raccoons

The Raccoons is a Canadian animated series that was produced by the Hinton Animation Studios. Kevin Gillis served as producer of the series and was responsible for the artistic direction together with Paul Shibli. From 1987 to 1992, the animated series from the TV channel Tele 5 was first aired as part of the children's show " Bim Bam Bino " on German television.

Content

The 60 episodes of five seasons revolve around the adventures of Bert Raccoon Raccoon and his friends Ralph and Melissa Raccoon Raccoon in the Evergreen Forest. As editor of the local newspaper " Evergreen Standard", to work for the salvation of the forest before the polluting companies businessman Cyril Sneer, a pink aardvark, a. Cyril is the boss of three incompetent piglets ( whose names are mentioned in an episode as Lloyd, Floyd and Boyd ), whose main task is to teach him about the machinations of the Raccoons. In the English original animated series from the Disney Channel in the U.S. was first aired 1985-1991.
