The RAND Journal of Economics

The RAND Journal of Economics - Formerly The Bell Journal of Economics - is an economics journal which is published by the RAND Corporation in cooperation with the publisher Wiley -Blackwell.

History

The Bell Journal of Economics, the predecessor of the RAND Journal of Economics, was first published in 1970 with two issues per year. 1984, the magazine in The RAND Journal of Economics was renamed. Since 2006, the journal is published by the RAND Corporation in cooperation with the publisher Wiley -Blackwell.

Content

The goal of the RAND Journal of Economics is to support research on the behavior of regulated industries, the economic analysis of organizations and general applied microeconomics and encouraged. Both theoretical and empirical manuscripts in the field of economic analysis of law are welcomed.

Current editor in chief of the Journal of Economics edge is James Hosek, supported by seven editors and 22 associate editor.

Reception

In a study of Kalaitzidakis et al. (2003) documented the RAND Journal of Economics No. 16 of 159 evaluated publications, but increased in an updated study of Kalaitzidakis et al. (2011) ranked 17 out of 209 compared Publications from.
