The Real World

The Real World is an American television program that was first aired in 1992 and still exists today. It is one of the most successful forms of so-called reality TV and is sent by music channel MTV. Since January 8, 2014, the 29th Squadron from San Francisco runs.

In the show, a group of unknown persons each will be filmed in a house around the clock. The most attractive scenes are cut together, highlighted with background music and dramatized by it. The members are not cut off from the outside world, but can leave the house at any time.

Each year, the show switches to a different city in the United States, some episodes have been made also in the United Kingdom, France and Australia.

Criticism

The concept of "The Real World" is strongly reminiscent of a Dutch show called number 28, which was sent in 1991, one year before they air. Therefore, against the producers of the accusation of plagiarism was charged.

Another criticism was directed against product placement, which was used in the broadcast. So were allegedly in a montage that were actually broadcast, scenes are those in which the participants use certain brands products who had paid money for it.
