The Riches is an American dramedy television series created by Dmitry Lipkin. The film stars Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. The series consists of two seasons with 20 episodes and was erstausgestrahlt the cable channel FX on March 12, 2007. The German Original Air Date was from 25 October 2013 in RTL Nitro.

The focus of the series is the family Malloy, consisting of father, Wayne and Dahlia mother and the children Di Di ( Delilah ), Sam and Cael.

The family belongs to the traveling people and earned their livelihood by theft and fraud. At the beginning of the series Dahlia comes free on parole after she was two years in prison ( and was a drug addict ). Reunited, the family returns to their communities. But while their old leader Earl is dying, his son Dale has seized power and wants to Di Di marry against their will. The Malloys flee and use previously in the money stock of the clan. On the run, they provide themselves with a family of the clan a chase where their campers relegate an oncoming car. The inmates, the wealthy couple Doug and Cherien Rich, yet die at the scene. The Malloys find that the Riches were on the way to move into a new house in Baton Rouge far from their old home and decide from then on as output the Riches. The children can go to a school and Wayne succeeds even when Doug Rich, a lawyer to take up job. Besides the problems hosting the spit Experience come to them gradually also members of their old communities on the track.
