The Roches

The Roches calls himself an American vocal group consisting of sisters Maggie ( born October 26, 1951 in Detroit ), Terre ( born April 10, 1953 in New York City ), and Suzzy Roche ( * in New York City).

Band History

The sisters Maggie and Terre occurred in New York clubs with a mixture of folk and doo-wop end of the 60s. First time on board they were heard in 1973 as background singers on Paul Simon's There Goes Rhymin ' Simon. 1976, the youngest sister Suzzy was a member of the Roches. Your most recognized board is the 1979 released LP The Roches, which was produced by King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp. Fripp also plays guitar on some tracks and brings his Frippertronics used. The Roches was appointed by the New York Times as the best record of the year 1979.
