The Rocket Summer
The Rocket Summer is the stage name of the American rock musician Bryce Avary ( born December 31, 1982 in Texas).
Biography
Avary self- released two EPs before he signed with the label The Militia Group in 2002. There, his debut album, Calendar Days, which he himself wrote and in which he played all the instruments himself appeared in 2003. Musically, he moved here between alternative rock and emo. It was followed by a second LP and two EPs before Avary moved to Iceland Records 2007.
There he had then in the same year his breakthrough with his third album Do You Feel; it reached # 44 on the U.S. charts. The following album Of Men and Angels, which was published in 2010, he surpassed the success yet. In addition to number 38 on the Billboard 200, the album was # 4 on the rock album charts.
