The Sacramento Bee
The Sacramento Bee is a local newspaper from California's Sacramento with a daily circulation of 300,000 copies (as of 2004). The newspaper, which was awarded five Pulitzer Prizes, is part of the McClatchy Company.
International attention The Sacramento Bee in May 2004 through the publication of an interview with the Sergeant ( " Staff Sergeant " ) Jimmy Massey. Mass had in November 2003 after twelve years of service with the U.S. Marines his service, most recently in Iraq, acknowledged and then go for post-traumatic disorders in treatment that he suffered because of the experienced atrocities against civilians in Iraq. The allegations made in this interview went well beyond the hitherto publicly Reported addition, they were also doubts elsewhere. The interview was adopted by many other newspapers, including from the British Independent.
