Action

Malcolm and his younger partner Paul go from house to house in an Australian suburb and try to convert the inhabitants to their church. But their task is limited success. Only Carmel seems to be interested in their church, says Paul, at least, as this is what he told Malcolm after he visited them alone. Malcolm claimed that Carmel was very shy. As other colleagues hear about it, they think it would be better to inform their pastor of this approach. At a meeting pushed into a corner, accused Malcolm Carmel's husband of adultery, whereupon all the congregation pray together against the evil in this marriage. Malcolm is the panic written on his face as he slept on his visits to Carmel and it is now the only reason no longer does because they denied him entry into her home. He watches her and her husband Tony now secretly.

The next day Paul is on going with Malcolm during his visit to Carmel. It comes to a fight, at the end of Paul runs away in horror. Malcolm is now looking to the husband to talk to him about his marriage and the possibility of a divorce. Suddenly Carmel comes back from shopping. Paul approaches her friendly and wants to help her in making purchases, but she kicks him in the back and sends him away rudely. Malcolm and Tony get with the Tony and reported that his wife was a convinced atheist. When she enters the house and sees Malcolm sitting in the living room with her husband, she rushes to the bathroom to vomit loudly. On the occasion of this incident tells Tony proud with Malcolm that she was pregnant. Now also Paul dares into the house. Tony is good humored, and asks them if the pregnancy could not be a wonder, they tried to have a baby for ten years and the doctors had told him that he was infertile. As Carmel comes back into the room, Malcolm congratulates the two and Paul keeps the point has come to hand over a Bible, but Carmel rejects thanks. A reference to the Malcolm just witnessed miracles can access Tony however. Malcolm leaves the door popping the house and Paul offers to continue the conversation.
