History

The band was founded in 1964 as " The Shadows", but when she learned of the existence of the same British group, they changed their name to " Shadows of Knight", what a " sound English " is what, in a time when all the English bands emulated, was not unfavorable. After some time of practice they became the house band at the club The Cellar in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where they conversed six months Saturday and Sunday more than 500 teenagers. There they discovered Bill Traut and George Badonsky for Dunwich Records, a sub-label of Atlantic Records. In 1966, they recorded their first album, but the original lineup broke up quickly and the end of the 1960s, her fame faded. Dunwich Records gave the band and sold the master tapes for a Dollar.Der singer Jim Sohns then headed over again various reissues of the band. In 1983 he had for drug offenses three years in jail. After his release and the reissue of their records through various labels its reputation rose again, and also two new albums came out after touring with Cheap Trick and The Romantics.
