The Skeptics Society

The Skeptics Society is a U.S. organization of the skeptics movement, whose self- stated goal is the promotion of scientific thinking. Founded in 1992, it was one in 2008 more than 55,000 members worldwide. It was founded by Michael Shermer. The Skeptics Society is concerned with phenomena that are considered as pseudo-sciences, such as creationism, PSI, clairvoyance, and Holocaust denial.
