The Sky Is Crying (song)

November 1959

The Sky Is Crying Blue is a song by Elmore James, which has evolved over the years into a blues standard. The first recording reached the fifteenth place on the Billboard R & B charts in 1960. Though Elmore James is listed as the sole composer and lyricist on the plate, the time was over yet given different names, which is probably due to the fact that there are countless cover versions there. In 1991, the song in the Blues Hall of Fame has been included in the category " Classics of Blues Recordings".

Text

In the song a lover complains that no longer loves him his "baby ". He saw it this morning to go down the road, what is good as long walked him to his heart skip and he remembered that love is not reciprocated. "And now the sky is crying, the tears raining down my door. "
