The St. Petersburg Times

St. Petersburg Times is an English-language newspaper in St. Petersburg, which is published once a week on Wednesdays. It is distributed free in cafes, restaurants and hotels to the readership.

The paper is aimed primarily at foreigners working in Petersburg and St. Petersburg who are interested in the English language. But tourists are addressed. It reports both on local events as well as to international politics and economy. The newspaper was published for the first time in May 1993.

The newspaper belongs, like the sister newspaper Moscow Times, the Independent Media.
