The Stone Flower is a Soviet fairy tale film by Alexander Ptuschko from the year 1946.

Action

Slyschko grandfather told the village children a story that is said to have once taken place:

The old stone cutter Prokopjitsch has brought it to mastery of the rock malachite. However, the work with the stone grabs his health, and he is sick in his house and can not meet him brought to its tasks. The rich landlord tells him to pass on his skills to the next generation, but the children of the village have no sense of the rock and Prokopjitsch also no skill for teaching, so he chases them all children. Production
