The Strangeloves

The Strange Loves presented themselves in public as a band from Australia since, however, were the project of the American songwriter and music producer Bob Feldman, Jerry Goldstein and Richard Gottehrer. The group is particularly known for their hit I Want Candy, which was often gecovert.

Band History

Feldman, Goldstein and Gottehrer worked in the 1960s under the name FGG Productions together successfully, among other things, they wrote for Pat Boone and Bobby Vee. They also had 1963 on the Billboard Hot 100 number -one hit My Boyfriend's Back The Angels of the written and produced. For her own band, she claimed to be on a sheep farm in Australia grew brothers named Giles, Miles and Niles Strange. For live performances they engaged in their active studio musician. In 1965 they released their only album, the eponymous single reached number 11 I Want Candy the U.S. charts. With Nighttime and Cara -Lin get another top 40 success, the following singles reached the Top 100 not more.

In the late 1960s, the members of their producers turned to activities again, Goldstein produced War and Gottehrer Blondie, among others.
