The Sundays

The Sundays were an English alternative rock band. The group was founded in the late 1980s and released three albums in the 1990s.

History

The band was founded when Harriet Wheeler ( born June 26, 1963) and guitarist David Gavurin met at the university. Shortly thereafter, were joined by bassist Paul Brindley and drummer Patrick Hannan and.

The Sundays were then a recording contract with Rough Trade Records. Her debut single was Can not be Sure; the first album of the band was called Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic and was released in 1990, along with their next single Here 's Where the Story Ends. The album was a Top 5 hit in the UK.

In the following years, the band released two more commercially successful albums out: 1992 Blind, the one placing in the top 15 make it into the UK, and 1997 Static & Silence, which again created a top 10 placement in England.

Singer Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin are a pair; they have two children together.
