The Theosophist

The Theosophist is a monthly theosophical magazine.

The magazine was first published in October 1879 and is published without interruption until today. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky founded the Journal in Mumbai in life to make the theosophical idea of ​​a wider public. After the relocation of the headquarters of the Theosophical Society Adyar from Mumbai to 1882, also the sheet made ​​with this move and since then appeared in this place. After the first great schism of the Theosophical Society in 1895 as a result of Judge Case in the Theosophical Society Adyar ( Adyar -TG) on the one hand and the Theosophical Society in America (now the Theosophical Society Pasadena ) on the other hand, presented the magazine, the mouthpiece of the Adyar -TG represents and is today, the official publication of this society.
