The Three Sisters (Ireland)

The Three Sisters ( Irish: An Triúr Deirféar, GV " The Three Sisters " ) is a common name in Ireland for the rivers Barrow, Nore Suir.

The Nore joins the Barrow, which finally opens into the lower reaches of the Suir. The Suir widens into an estuary, the Waterford Harbour ( Cuan Phort Láirge ) which is south of Waterford at Dunmore East discharges into the Celtic Sea. Between source and mouth of the course of the rivers fan out and extends over a large part of southeastern Ireland and Others in the County Laois, Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford.
