The Wanted
The Wanted is a five-piece British- Irish boy band.
Career
Originally from London boy band was put together as part of a mass auditions 2009. As members of this casting originate Thomas Anthony ( called Tom) Parker, Nathan James ( called Nathan, Nath ) Sykes and Kevin James ( called Jay ) McGuiness. Two other members, Siva ( called Siva, Seev ) Kaneswaran, who already participated as a model in several advertising campaigns, sometimes together with his twin brother Kumar Kaneswaran, as well as Maximilian Alberto ( called Max ) George, a member of the disbanded band Avenue, were added later.
The debut single, All Time Low was released in July 2010, the single was released in Germany on October 15. Advance came the debut album by the band on 1 September 2010 on the German market.
The single Gold Forever has sold in Europe over 180,000 times.
Chasing the Sun was in the credits of the film Ice Age 4 - Continental Drift selected. With the start of the film in theaters, the title could place internationally in the singles charts, although he had not yet appeared on CD.
The follow-up single I Found You came out in early November, 2012. In June 2013, the single Walks Like Rihanna and the corresponding EP appeared. In June, their new series The Wanted Life was published that resembles a video diary and the band shows at various experiences, performances etc.. In November they released their third album Word of Mouth.
In January 2014 it was announced that the band will take a break. Everyone wants to achieve his personal goals. However, this is not intended as definitive separation of the boy band, only just a little break.
