Theater an der Salzach

The Theater an der Salzach in Salzburg was founded in 1983 by Rainer Wistler.

The building at 114 Makartkai can accommodate up to 400 people and is currently being renovated from the ground up. Upon completion in June 2011, will accommodate up to 600 people.

Following the departure of Rainer Wistler in 2001 Helmut Beer took over the post of director. His contract runs until 2014.
