Theater Phönix

The Phoenix Theater is a company incorporated in Linz, Upper Austria 1989 free center stage. Around 20,000 people visit per year, the performances of the three venues in the house.

Schedule

On the program are topics that are closely related to the current socio- political context. On the one hand classics are reinterpreted on the other hand, the hotel offers young writers a platform.

Currently responsible for the artistic direction of Harald Gebhartl, for the management of records Mag Romana Staufer Hutter responsible. Between 1989 and 1996, Georg Schmiedleitner ( one of the founders ) was artistic director of the house and Stefan Kurowski Managing Director until 2005.
