Theater44

The theater was a 44 Munich's private theater. It was founded in 1959 by Horst A. Reichel and consisted almost 50 years - longer than any other Munich private theater. Many now famous actors (among Otto Sander, Heiner Lauterbach, Irmhild Wagner, Martin Sperr, Margarethe von Trotta, Katja Flint, Franjo Marincic, Robinson Reichel, Masha Gohlke, Angelika Fanai, stood at a young age here on the stage. The repertoire consisted mainly pieces of classical modern and contemporary authors.

Horst A. Reichel joined the Therater44 end of May 2009. As a parting production was, as at the beginning, the " closed society " section.
