Theaterachse

The axis is an Austrian theater free theater group.

Formation

The theater was founded in 1994 by Markus axis stone Wender, Thomas Schächl, Mathias shoe, Claudia Schächl. The occasion was the previously previous production heart & liver, Dog & Pig by Hans Jörg Schneider ( Director: Doris Harder ), played in the founding members.

The theater axis machined and plays literary classics that rarely find their way to the theater stage ( Cyrano de Bergerac, 1996, Don Quixote, 1997, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1998; Die Nibelungen, 2000; Lady of the Camellias, 2003 ;) and theater classic in modern machining with vocals ( summer night's Dream; Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, 2005; Faust, 2007).

As guests were involved in the theater, among other axis Andreas Baumgartner, Wiebke Scheschonka and Christian Scharrer.

2007 directed the theater axis Faust - The tragedy first part ( 2007) with Melanie Kogler as Gretchen, Georg Reiter as Faust, Thomas Schächl as Mephisto and Christian Scharrer in all other roles.

Children's Theatre

Since 2001, develops and plays the theater axle theater for children and young people, usually in very small occupation ( Hansel and Gretel, 2001; dad now lives in Heinrichstraße of Paul and Nele Maar, 2004; King Thrushbeard Caliph Stork, 2004; Snow, 2006; The Wishing-Table, 2007; Cinderella, 2008). Here we came with some world premieres ( The Purple Pig colorful time; Mama off tonight not so good) to the audience.

Productions

Since 2003, they work with contemporary authors own pieces ( hcartmannfasten, 2003; Like the Wolf by Thomas Bernhard eats texts by Rudolf Habringer, 2004; tears of home by Lutz Hübner, 2004; Waidmannsheil by Susanne Hinkelbein, 2006;! Palačinky of Brigitta Waschnig and Thomas Schächl, 2006).
