THEhotel at Mandalay Bay

THEhotel is a hotel in Las Vegas in the U.S. state of Nevada, which is operated by MGM Resorts International Group. It is located on the Las Vegas Strip and is part of the Mandalay Bay hotel. Although it is run as an independent hotel, but was built as an extension of the Mandalay Bay. From the outside it looks very similar to the Mandalay Bay, but is built up inside different. It features 1117 suites.

Most of the rooms are suites in THEhotel at least 70 m² of floor space. They consist of two rooms: a living room with large LCD TV and a bedroom, which is also equipped with a TV set. In addition, the suites include a bathroom, with another LCD TV, bath and shower, separated therefrom, and two separated toilets with doors - one accessible from the living room ( " guest toilet " ), the other from the bathroom.

On the top floor there is a restaurant and a nightclub named MiX. The restaurant is run by Alain Ducasse, and offers excellent views of large parts of the Strip.

History

When the building was opened in 2004, it offered the largest standard suites in Las Vegas. 2006, the lettering on the hotel was changed to " THEhotel " to make the building from the Mandalay Bay distinguishable. Previously, he was identical to the original building.
