Action

Lally discovers that her father Henry is having an affair with another woman. With her mother Harriet she withdraws into a resort. There she meets a young man, Jack know, into which they fell in love. Once they are sure to want to get married, Lally discovered that Jack's mother Beth is her father's lover. The young couple decides to separate.

You do bye a boat ride. A storm comes, which can abort the boat. Lally and Jack are still missing. Marlett and Beth are desperately looking for their children, realize this, which has serious consequences their affair for their children. You can find their children, bring them home and return to their spouses.

Criticism

Wrote Mordaunt Hall of the New York Times, although the film from comedy to melodrama skip and the director have cut some corners, it was a film with excellent cinematography and competent actors.

Awards

In the third Academy Awards 1930 Norma Shearer was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
