Theodor Mundt

Theodor Mundt ( born September 19, 1808 in Potsdam, † November 30, 1861 in Berlin) was a German writer.

Life

Theodor Mundt's father was a registrar, who died before the birth of the Son. The mother moved with Theodor Berlin, where he was a 11 -year-old visited the Joachimsthalsche school and on October 5, 1825 received his diploma. From October 1825 Theodor Mundt studied at the Law Faculty of the University of Berlin; in May 1826, he joined the Faculty of Arts: Studies in August Boeckh, Karl Lachmann, Friedrich von Raumer, Henry Knight and Hegel. On April 20, 1830, he received his doctorate in Erlangen with a thesis in the field of classical philology and rhetoric.
