Theoni V. Aldredge

Theoni Vahliotou Aldredge (birth name: Theoni Athanasiou Vahliotou; born August 22, 1922 in Thessaloniki, Greece, † January 21, 2011 in Stamford, Connecticut) was a native of Greece American costume designer who the next Oscar for Best Costume Design several times Tony Award won for the best costumes for Best Costume Design, and other film awards.

Life

Theoni Athanasiou Vahliotou, daughter of a general physician of the Greek armed forces and later members of the Greek Parliament, attended the American School in Athens and studied after its completion in 1949 at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. 1953 she married actor Tom Aldredge and was married with this until her death.
