Theridion spiders grallator is a type that is found exclusively in Hawaii. Your abdomen is pale yellow and somewhat transparent. Depending on the absorbed food can enter a red, black and white coloring. The resulting pattern has similarity with a laughing face. Therefore, the English common name is also "happy face spider". This polymorphism could counteract the applicability of prey schemes of their hunters.

The females live as a loner among leaves in the forest. They defend a single Eiballen aggressive and take care of the brood for a while after hatching. It may happen, that some juveniles are added to the spawn of drawing mothers.
