Thermi (Greek Θέρμη ( f sg ) ) is a municipality in the Regional District Thessaloniki in Central Macedonia in Greece. According to 2011 census, the south-east location of Thessaloniki municipality has 53 201 inhabitants, the eponymous town of Thermi 16,004. The Science Museum Noesis is located in Thermi. The Thermaic Gulf, part of the Northwest Aegean Sea, was named after the town of Thermi.

Structure

The municipality Thermi was formed in 2010 from three former municipalities that now form the municipal districts micro, Thermi and Vasilika. The Municipality of Thermi itself is divided into the districts of Thermi, Nea Redestos, Neo Rysio and Tagarades.
