Thespis

Thespis (* 6th century BC in Ikaria, Attica ) was one of the first Greek tragic poet, theater director and actor in Athens. He was regarded in ancient times as the inventor of the drama, especially the tragedy.

Life

In the great Dionysia in Athens, he stepped between 536 BC and 533 BC when a tragedy competition in appearance.
