Thessaloniki International Film Festival

The International Film Festival of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki also International Film Festival ( TIFF), (Greek Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης ) is organized annually in Thessaloniki since 1960.

The films shown are divided into the following sections: " International Section ", "A panorama of Greek films", "The New Horizons program" and "The Balkan Survey". There is also a retrospective, which is dedicated to a complete work. The main prize is the "Golden Alexander".
