Theux is a city in the province of Liege, County Verviers, Belgium. It lies in the valley of the Hoëgne which rises in the High Fens as Polleur -Bach. 11,992 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012) live in an area of ​​83.36 km ².

In 1977, the municipalities of La Reid and Polleur were incorporated.

Today Theux are as Walloon capital of the crayfish, this, there is a small exhibition in the local library.
