Thibaut Nicolas Marc Courtois (born 11 May 1992 Bree ) is a Belgian football goalkeeper who is currently on loan from Chelsea to the Spanish side Atlético Madrid and the Belgian national team is active.

Career

In the club

Courtois was the son of the Belgian volleyball professionals and Gitte Thierry Courtois to the world. Unlike his siblings, but he decided to play football and began his long career as a five year old when Blizen VV in the same city, which is located south of Genk, about 40 km from Bree.
