Thiemo Storz (born 12 October 1991 in Tettnang ) is a German racing driver. He joined in 2011 in Formula 2 at.

Career

At the age of 12 years Thiemo Storz began his career in the German karting ( Bambini A). After a few years of experience, he won the 2006 Swiss Karting Championship ( ICA Junior). For the Kart CRG brand from Italy he took in 2006, 2007 and 2008 on the international race of the World Series Karting ( " ESC " ) and the Italy Open part. In 2007 he graduated from the Swiss Karting Championship in his first year in the category " KF2 " on the third final rank. 2008 Storz also drew starting for CO2 Motorsport his first experience in Formula racing and was initially 14 of the Italian Formula 2000 Light. He then participated in two Winter Championships and finished fourth in the Italian Formula 2000 Light and seventh in the Italian Formula Renault. 2009 Storz entered for CO2 Motorsport in several racing series. The most successful was he in the Italian Formula 2000 Light, in which he was runner with three wins, and won the Tatuus 2000 rating. In the Swiss Formula Renault he stood on the podium four times and finished the season in third place overall. In addition, he was 24th in the Italian Formula Renault.

2010 interrupted Storz his motorsport career to complete his schooling. He took part this year only on a race weekend of the Formula Palmer Audi and already finished his first race in second place on the podium. He also scored the fastest lap of the race. In the drivers' standings he was 24th after Storz had participated in testing of the FIA Formula 2 Championship already in the winter, he gave in early 2011 known to go in this championship at the start.
