Thierry Champion

Thierry Champion ( born August 31, 1966 in Bagnols -sur -Cèze ) is a former French tennis player.

Life

Champion reached the quarterfinals, where he defeated, among others, Andrei Olchowski and Aaron Krickstein the junior tournament the French Open in 1983. The following year was the in the quarterfinals of the junior competition at the Australian Open, where he defeated Mark Kratzmann. In his professional career on the ATP World Tour, he won a tournament, his best result in 1988 was the singles final in Saint -Vincent, which he clearly lost to Kent Carlsson.
