Thierry d'Orca

Dietrich von Orgue (French Thierry d' Orgue d' or Their Orguenes, lat Theodoric de Orca, * before 1174, † 1207 ) was by marriage Lord of Arsuf in the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

Dietrich was a probably a French knight who came to the Holy Land with the Third Crusade in 1190. Its origin is not known.

He stood near the Count Henry II of Champagne, who ascended in 1192 to the king of Jerusalem. This gave him the marriage to Melisende, the heiress of the rule Arsuf.

With Melisende he had seven daughters, who all died before him. So he had no heirs when he died around 1207. His widow remarried after his death Johann of Ibelin, the "old men of Beirut ".
