Thierry Marichal

Thierry Marichal ( born June 13, 1973 in Leuze -en -Hainaut ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

Thierry Marichal was 1996 Cédico -Ville de Charleroi professional after being driven there in the previous year as a stagiaire. In 1997, he won the overall classification of the Tour de la Region Wallonne. He then moved to the Belgian cycling team lotto. In 1999, he chose a stage of the Tour de Picardie for themselves. In the Circuit Franco -Belge he won a stage and finished second in the overall standings behind Daniele Nardello. From 2005 to 2006 Marichal went for the French ProTour team Cofidis. In the first year there, he was able to win with Sylvain Chavanel the Duo Normand. In 2007, he finished his career with Française des Jeux.
