Thierry Robert

Thierry Robert ( born April 1, 1977 in Saint- Denis, Réunion ) is a French politician. He is the Member of National Assembly since 2012.

Robert studied after graduating from high school in Reims Engineering and then returned to Réunion back to lead his family there. His political career began with his entry into the UDF, the regional delegate, he was in 2005. In 2006 he became chairman of the Jeunes UDF for Réunion. After the dissolution of the UDF, he joined the new party MoDem. In 2008 he was elected mayor of the municipality of Saint -Leu and moved into the General Council of Réunion. In the parliamentary elections in 2012 in the seventh constituency of Réunion, he managed to election to the National Assembly, which he entered as one of two members of the MoDem in this.
