History

When Napoleon Hill was a young man, steel magnate Andrew Carnegie drew his attention to the mystery, which he owed his immense fortune. Napoleon Hill was commissioned by him, the time probably the richest man in the world to examine the best practices of some 500 millionaires and derive a common philosophy for success. In more than 20 years of work and numerous interviews Hill believed to have come to the secret of success on the track: This includes the correct instructions to the subconscious mind, the unshakable belief in yourself and not least perseverance and determination.

The six steps to the goal

The author explains that divided the road from desire for wealth for its implementation in the following six steps:

The United States: to accumulate the land of opportunities, money

Hill tells you exactly where and how opportunities can be found in order to achieve wealth. In the German translation of the country is not named, but in the original version is from the United States:

" Now that we have familiarized ourselves with the rules and principles by means of which practically all self-made millionaires have built their wealth, you will probably ask yourself the next question: Where can I find the opportunity to apply these principles? (...) First, we remember that we all live in a country where everyone enjoys the full freedom to think, say and do what seems good and no other harm. We enjoy freedom of thought, of free choice and unfettered use of all educational and training opportunities, the freedom of political expression, freedom of profession, freedom to accumulate without any external interference as much money as we want only the free choice of residence, of the workplace and of the spouse, the freedom to travel wherever we please, and finally the freedom to put us all, even the highest conceivable goal that a person can achieve. "

The great lesson of the Declaration of Independence of the United States

Hill makes us realize what a great example of determination and courage of conviction of the American Declaration of Independence expressed itself in:

" The most consequential decision of the story, as far as any American citizen, was taken on July 4, 1776, when 56 men sat in Philadelphia their names to a document, by which they knew that it was either help to freedom for all citizens of the American colonies - or would bring them all to the gallows.
