Third World (band)
Third World is a Jamaican reggae band. Their music combines influences of funk, soul and disco.
History
Third World was founded in 1973 by keyboardist Michael " Ibo " Cooper and guitarist from Stephen "Cat" Coore. Their first album, titled Third World, where a woman was singing along, appeared in 1976. Had your first international success, the band with the song Now That We Found Love on Journey To Addis (1978), her third studio album. The single was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. Due to this great success, the band drew the attention of Stevie Wonder to yourself, who worked on it with them.
