The criminal cases of Major Zeman ( Original title: 30 případů majora Zemana ~ The 30 cases of Major Zeman ) is a Czechoslovak television series created by Jiří Sequens, which was produced from 1974 to 1979 in 30 episodes. The German synchronization is incurred in the DEFA and was broadcast by German Television from March 1976.
Action
The series was the 30th anniversary of the founding of the SNB ( Sbor Národni bezpečnost = National Security Corps ) produced, which was established in 1945. It consisted of two sections since 1948, the Public Security ( Veřejná bezpečnost ) and the State Security ( StB = Statni bezpočnost ). She plays from 1945 to 1973., The individual episodes are each complete in itself. The episodes are based on supposedly authentic cases.
Hero of the series is the Communist Workers' January Zeman, who was admitted by the German occupying forces in a concentration camp during World War II. On the advice of fellow he joined in 1945, the SNB and is transported throughout the series from simple police officer to Major. He worked both normal criminal cases as well as matters of sabotage and espionage.
Tradition, political disputes about the series
The series was also broadcast in the GDR in 1982 and apparently repeated for the last time. She was still in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Cuba, Finland, Japan, Portugal, the USSR and Austria to the performance. The first season is now on DVD edition available in German. In 1989, there appeared in Military Publishing House of the GDR a selection of seven short stories of the series, which appear to be based on the scenarios of the respective episodes. In the epilogue Dr. Vlastislav Kroupa commented on the series as follows:
