The scars hand is a film directed by Frank Tuttle in 1942 and is the film attributed noir style. The film is based on the novel The assassination of Graham Greene.

Action
An assassin named Raven is tricked by the nightclub owner Willard Gates, which acts as a middle man for the traitorous industrialist Alvin Brewster, the president of Nitro Chemical. On the way to Los Angeles to shoot their way to free the traitors, Raven meets Ellen Graham, a nightclub singer. Graham is soon hired by a senator to about Gates out who maintains business relations with the Japanese, in order to sell poison gas. Ellen's fiancé, the cop Lt. Michael Crane, tries to pursue Raven, while he has to wonder the same time, if his girlfriend was kidnapped or a willing accomplice is.
