Thomas Bergmann

Thomas Bergmann ( born September 20, 1989 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player at the position of right-back. Since 2011 he plays for FC Wacker Innsbruck in the Bundesliga, the highest Austrian league.

Career

Youth

Bergmann began his career at FC Stadlau in Vienna. In 2001 he moved to the youth department of the Bundesliga FK Austria Vienna, where he was three years in total active. After he said goodbye to the Purple, he returned to FC Stadlau.

Club career

In Stadlau Bergmann came in the 2007/ 08 season in the first team, where he participated in all games. The association was with the right defender in the league Second Viennese. After that, he was engaged by Rapid Vienna. There he came in the amateurs in the Regional League East for use. His debut for the green-white reserve he announced on August 1, 2008 against the SKU Amstetten, which was won 4-1. Miner starred opposite the later national team Yasin Pehlivan, Christopher Drazan and Christopher Trimmel up to 80 minutes. Overall, he came into this season on 26 missions and scored against the amateurs of SV Mattersburg a hit. He also came in OFB Cup used and the surprising 5-1 win against the Bundesliga side SV Mattersburg scored a goal. The Rapid Amateure were sixth in the East Regional. In the following season he was used twelve times and could even hit the target. In the fall of 2010/11 he was the amateurs Rapids faithful and still played nine times for the Green-Whites.

In winter 2011 Bergmann was awarded to the newly promoted Bundesliga Wacker Innsbruck. His debut in the highest Austrian league he was 26 February 2011 against SV Mattersburg when he came on in the 85th minute for Julius Perstaller. The game was won 2-0 at the Tivoli. With 14 missions, he gained some match practice in the Bundesliga in the spring of 2011. The Tyrolean were in final table at the end of the season in sixth place.
